Machine for filling a feed storage hangar

We designed a distributing machine aimed to fill an harbour hangar with granulated feed.
The final client's request represented a real challenge:

the machine we were about to design had to be able to fully fill the storage facility, to avoid pile-ups and to distribute the product evenly.

After an accurate study on the hangar dimensions and on the various factors that could affect our objective, we decided to design a machine moveable both longitudinally and transversally: thanks to this peculiar feature, the machine can cover most of the storage facility, avoiding unwanted pile-ups.
In this kind of project the structural testing stage was particularly relevant to ensure the perfect functionality of the system and the achievement of the final objective the client requested.
